Pickleball Rules and Policies

Pickleball
 
Pickleball is a racquet sport of great interest to Greenville members.  The season typically runs April thru October.  The Pickleball facilities include four outdoor courts, a viewing deck and equipment shed.  The facilities were constructed in 2024. 
 
Instruction
Members may arrange for lessons and clinics with the Director of Pickleball.  Both individual and group instructions are offered.
 
Pro Shop
Pickleball equipment is available for purchase in the racquets pro shop in the tennis building.  Demo paddles are also available.
 
Platform Tennis Reservations
Play periods are for any length of time up to 90 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 10:30 p.m. Club events will take priority over individual reservations.  See the section for the Court Reservation System in the Tennis Section for instructions on reserving a court.  Players unable to keep a reservation should cancel through the Reservation System as soon as possible.
 
Food and Beverages
All food and beverages consumed at the paddle facility must be purchased from the Club.
 
Teams
Greenville Country Club fields Teams on Monday Nights in the Wilmington Interclub Pickleball League, as well as Wednesday nights in the Brandywine Valley Premier Pickleball League. 
 
Events
Pickleball events at Greenville Country Club include round robins, inter-club play, doubles tournaments, community events and more.
 
Only Greenville Country Club Pros/Trainers are allowed to work with Members and/or Guests on GCC property
