Larry Kilcullen

Head Pickleball Pro

Larry is a IPTPA Level 2 Certified Pickleball Pro.  He has tons of both teaching and playing experience.  He competes regionally and travels all over the country to compete nationally.

Larry thoroughly enjoys teaching pickleball and spreading the game to new players as well as continuing to help high level players ascend. He enjoys the sense of community that pickleball brings.  He is quoted as saying, “Playing pickleball, athletes can compete at a high level – while enjoying the strong social aspect of the game.”
Larry holds the L1 pickleball instructor certification from the International Pickleball Teacher Professional Association (IPTPA) – and is working on the Level 2 Certification. Larry plans to compete in the 2023 US Open for pickleball in April and is a level 4.0+ player.
When Larry is not on the pickleball courts of West Chester, you might find him on the golf course or spending time with his grown children and his dog Chief.
Larry greatly looks forward bringing his knowledge of and enthusiasm for the game of pickleball to the members and courts at GCC.  He welcomes all levels to reach out to him to set up instruction (private or group).  To make arrangements, feel free to email Larry at [email protected] or text at 610-316-3900.

Larry will be available at specific pockets of time, as he also coaches elsewhere.  Tuesdays in the a.m. and Wednesdays in the p.m. are good times to get in with him.  He can certainly make arrangements outside of those times as well.  He will be coaching the weekly "Pickleball Basics" clinic every Wednesday evening from 5-6 p.m. as well as running the Weekly Wednesday Mixed Round Robin from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
